Moral Dilemmas in Huck Finn
In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Huck faces a number of moral dilemmas which reveal much about his character. Well in dilemma that will support the position is when Huck takes Jim in and tries to help him escape from Ms. Watson.
Well in my dilemma Huck has just ran away from home and Huck is on the run. But when Huck is escaping he sees and slave that is Jim and he already ran away. This puts Huck in a hard decision that can affect his life and Jim’s life. Well Huck had and Jim had a lots of adventures there they could have gotten caught this means that Jim could have been lynch and Huck could have went to jail. Huck grew stronger and got more courageous as he goes on but he does fell guilt as the story goes on. Huck did lots of lies and had lots of ways from getting them caught and so far they haven’t gotten caught. In chapter16 page 68 on of the Huck says: “He’s white”. One man ask Huck if Jim was white and Huck lies so that Huck and Jim doesn’t get caught
What Huck did was very hard and it takes a lot of courage and being brave to do that. I favor his decision because it would be the right thing to do in an illegal way but you are changing some ones life and making them a free man.
What Huck did was wrong back in that time but then again it was right. But put your self in this situation. What if your best friend was a slave and she want to leave and

you had the chance to help here leave and be free you would probably do the same thing. It’s hard but then again you are doing the right thing depending or rather what you believe.
In conclusion this concludes the essay on Huck Finn and moral dilemmas and how he choose to do and dangerous decision of helping out and friend and risking your life or leaving your friend and making his life more miserable.
